Athens public transport services to end early

Athens public transport will come to a halt well before midnight Resurrection celebrations on Easter Saturday, while services will also be sparse on Monday, which is a public holiday.

The last metro trains will leave Syntagma Station at 11 p.m. Saturday and the final service from the airport to Piraeus will be at 10:22 p.m., while the last train to the airport will leave Dimotiko Theatro in Piraeus at 9:42 p.m.

On the Piraeus-to-Kifissia Line 1, the last trains will depart Piraeus and Kifissia at 10:20 p.m.

All buses and trolleys will be gradually withdrawn from action with a view to being in depots at 11 p.m.
