Three Cents, the well-known Greek company producing mixer soft drinks for cocktails and which has belonged to Coca-Cola HBC AG since 2022, is entering the Chinese market. Specifically, it’s moving into the so-called “cold market” (bars, restaurants), writing another chapter in its successful story that began in 2014.
Besides entering one of the largest markets in the world, in a country where the trend of cocktail consumption is on the rise, the company’s move in China is considered instrumental to Three Cents’ presence in Asia. This is the region where it will focus its interest in the coming years.
The cocktail trend in China has been growing rapidly – not just in recent years – in cities such as Shanghai, through the combination of modern mix methods with local ingredients. The trend is particularly strong among young people who are increasingly turning to lighter drinks with different flavors and often make related posts on social media.
The planned penetration of the Chinese market will be made with Three Cents’ most iconic products, namely Pink Grapefruit Soda, Aegean Tonic, Three Cents Tonic Water, Two Cents Plain and Ginger Beer.
