Influencer Ioanna Touni was arrested in Thessaloniki on Saturday after a lawsuit was filed against her for breaching personal data when she revealed the name and face of a man she won a case against earlier this week on social media.
Based on information, Touni was at a venue when she saw one of the two men convicted in a revenge porn case where she was the plaintiff and posted a video of him on social media. The man filed a lawsuit against her and she was detained when she appeared at the local police station to testify.
Her lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, told a television station that his client posted the video against his advice, but that he will ask permission from the prosecutor’s office to officially disclose their names and faces.
