A series of arson attacks was reported overnight across multiple areas of Athens, targeting automated teller machines (ATMs) and a commercial vehicle, authorities said. No injuries were reported, but the incidents caused material damage.

The first attack occurred at approximately 1.30 a.m. on Patission Street, where unidentified individuals set fire to an ATM after dousing it with a flammable substance. The suspects fled the scene immediately after igniting the fire.

At around the same time, a similar incident was reported at Kyprou Square in the Zografou district. Assailants used the same method, pouring flammable material on an ATM and setting it ablaze, causing damage. The perpetrators escaped.

Shortly afterward, another arson attack was recorded in the Kypseli neighborhood. In this case, the target was a commercial vehicle, which was set on fire by unknown individuals, causing material damage.

Authorities have not reported any arrests in connection with the incidents, and no information has been released regarding a possible motive. An investigation is ongoing.
