A one-year-old infant sustained a head injury during an altercation between four women in provincial city Pyrgos, northwestern Peloponnese, on Saturday.
The injury reportedly occurred when one of the women threw a plastic scooter at the infant.
It was taken to the local hospital for first aid treatment, escorted by police officers, and later transferred by ambulance to the Patra Children’s Hospital, Karamandaneio, for precautionary tests.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested in Pyrgos Saturday night in connection with the incident, following a complaint filed by a 48-year-old woman who accused her of causing dangerous bodily harm, making insults, and assaulting vulnerable individuals.
In connection with the same case, two other women, aged 21 and 20, are sought for arrest on charges of insult and causing dangerous bodily harm.
