A driver in the village of Gravia in Central Greece was arrested Wednesday for attempting to bribe a senior traffic officer during a routine check, ERT reported.
Police stopped the vehicle for illegal tinted windows, and the foreign national allegedly offered money to avoid a fine and license suspension. Officers immediately arrested him on bribery charges. He remains in custody and is set to stand trial on March 11.
