Three people have been arrested on Zakynthos in connection with the death of a 69-year-old notary, whose bloodied body was found near her car in a parking lot outside her house.
Police made the arrests after examining camera footage from the wider area.
State broadcaster ERT reported that investigators believe the killing was the result of an attempted robbery but have not ruled out other possibilities.
The notary was found dead Wednesday morning by her son.
The investigation so far suggests that she had a wound to her left thigh and died as a result of uncontrollable bleeding.
Police may seek access to the notary’s phone records as part of their investigation.
