Levadiakos took a leap to safety thrashing Aris 4-1 [Intime].
A high-scoring weekend in the Super League saw all four leaders win, with a varying degree of difficulty, while Levadiakos shocked Aris to edge closer to safety.
Leader Olympiakos had no problems at a depleted Panserraikos and won 4-0 on Sunday. The league’s top scorer, Ayoub El Kaabi, scored a brace, and Chiquinho with Gelson Martins added a goal each.
AEK needed an injury-time goal by Petros Mantalos to complete its comeback against visiting Atromitos and win 2-1 on Saturday behind closed doors. Giorgos Tzovaras opened the score for Atromitos, Niclas Eliasson equalized and Mantalos solved the riddle for AEK on the 94th.
Panathinaikos also won 2-1 at home, against Volos on Sunday. The 2-0 lead – with goals from Ingi Ingasson and Adam Cerin – was reduced by Juan Pablo Anor, making the last half-hour a dramatic affair, that did not change anything in the end. This was the Greens’ first victory after three straight losses in all competitions.
PAOK faced bottom team Lamia at home and won 7-0, thanks to a Giannis Konstantelias hat trick and goals from Mbwana Samatta, Fedor Chalov, Andrija Zivkovic and Shola Shoretire.
Levadiakos scored the biggest win of the weekend, thrashing Aris 4-1 on Sunday. Triantafyllos Tsapras, Rodrigo Erramuspe (who also scored an own goal), Panagiotis Simelidis and Fabricio Pedrozo were on target for Levadiakos.
