A 34-year-old Egyptian man arrested on Sunday has been sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of being the serial flasher who harassed multiple women in Peristeri, western Athens.
He was found guilty of indecent exposure and violence against officers and was led to prison, as his sentence was not suspended.
The defendant confessed to his actions and requested to be held in a psychiatric facility, but the court denied his request.
He also asked for forgiveness from his victims, stating: “I would like the women to forgive me because I have a daughter, and I would not like for someone to do the same to her.”
One of his victims testified about the fear she felt during his attack. “I felt someone following me. He was masturbating and using vulgar language. I told him I would call the police, and he left,” she said.
