Deep Purple brings five decades of rock to Athens on 13 October

Deep Purple will play Telekom Center Athens on 13 October 2026, their only Greek date, with the rising British act Jayler as special guest

Live concert performance with band on stage and large audience at Greek City Times event.

The band has spent more than 50 years as one of hard rock’s defining names: a long run of records, sold-out rooms, and a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Smoke on the Water” and “Highway Star” are still the songs the set is built around. “Child in Time,” first released in 1970, has had a second life in the trailer for the new season of Stranger Things, which put the track in front of a younger audience.

The Athens show also follows the 2024 album =1, the latest sign that the group is still recording as well as touring. On 13 October the bill pairs that catalogue with Jayler, a newer British rock act.
