Gagosian Gallery (22 Anapiron Polemou) presents Sarah Crowner’s new solo exhibition “Night for Day.” Inspired by Francois Truffaut’s technique in his 1973 film “Day for Night,” where outdoor sequences were filmed in daylight and filtered to appear as if they were shot at night, the American artist, using deep greens and rich blues in her paintings, tries to recreate the feeling of dense gardens or forests at night.
