Today, she is a respected Formula 1 journalist and content creator, working with global brands, sports teams, and luxury travel partners while covering major events worldwide. Q: Formula 1 has become a major part of your career. How did your journey in motorsport media begin?

A: Motorsport has been a passion of mine for more than a decade. I originally started attending races simply because I loved the sport and wanted to create content that gave people a behind-the-scenes look. Over time, that grew into working with teams, sponsors, and global brands, as well as contributing to publications covering Formula 1 and major sporting events. Today, I attend races across multiple continents each season, working with teams, sponsors, and brands while creating content and editorial coverage around the sport.

Q: Formula 1 has experienced incredible growth in recent years. Why do you think it resonates with so many people?

A: Formula 1 is no longer just about the racing. It sits at the intersection of sport, technology, travel, luxury, fashion, and entertainment. There is something for everyone, and it has become increasingly inclusive. I try to explain the sport in really simple terms and showcase the people and technology behind the teams rather than focusing on myself being there. That’s always been my approach to building an audience and staying connected to what people actually want to see.

The broader appeal, though, has helped bring an entirely new generation of fans into Formula 1.

Q: What has been the most rewarding part of building a career around Formula 1?

A: The opportunities and the people. Through Formula 1 I have been fortunate enough to travel the world, interview athletes, work with incredible brands and experience places I may never have otherwise visited. What I enjoy most, though, is being able to share those experiences with my audience and make the sport feel more accessible to people who may not have considered following it before.

Q: Alongside your media career, you are also the founder of World of Re’zort. What inspired you to launch the brand?

World of Re’zort was born from my love of travel and destination dressing, and, in particular, from going into hotel boutiques and killing time trying on clothes. Growing up, some of my favourite memories involved visiting beautiful resorts and discovering special pieces that became part of those experiences. I wanted to create a brand that captured that same feeling with clothing that reminds people of their favourite destinations and travels long after they return home. Some of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe are tied to memories of a particular trip, and I wanted to create that same feeling for other women.

Q: What makes World of Re’zort different from other fashion brands?

The brand focuses heavily on quality, small-batch production, and timeless design. Rather than focusing on trends, I prefer creating pieces that women can continue to wear season after season. The brand is also built around the idea of effortless elegance, with pieces that feel elevated yet easy to wear, whether in Sydney, Greece, or beyond.

Q: Where are your family from in Greece?

My mother’s side is from the village Karitsa in Larissa, and my father’s side is closer to Athens, from the Peloponnese region.

Q: What is your relationship like with your grandparents, and how has that shaped you?

My grandparents on both sides were like second sets of parents to my brother and me! Both worked in the medical field, so while they worked really hard, we spent a significant part of our childhood with our grandparents, so they could do this!

My grandparents also played a huge role in shaping who I am today. They instilled in us the values of hard work, religion, and family, which are all qualities that have stayed with me throughout my life and career. They also helped foster a close relationship between my brother and me because we were always a package deal growing up and did everything together.

My grandparents also taught us that education was a privilege, not an obligation, and that if we were given opportunities, we had a responsibility to make the most of them. My grandpa was an Economist in Greece and was really proud of that, and even prouder when we were going through university and getting our education. That mindset ultimately led me to complete my degrees, begin my career in law, and later build my own businesses and media career.

Q: Has your Greek heritage influenced the way you approach fashion and business?

Absolutely. Greece has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. The destination itself, my family, and the culture.

When I design, I often think about destinations such as the Greek Islands, where people embrace beautiful dressing as part of everyday life, not just for special occasions.

I also name a lot of the garments after my Greek heritage throughout. The first hero print was named “Everest” after my grandfather, who was my best friend and one of the most important influences in my life. Our best-selling gown, the Larissa, was named after my mother’s birthplace. Those personal connections are incredibly meaningful to me, so there are always small pieces of my Greek heritage woven throughout the brand.

Q: Your career spans media, fashion, and entrepreneurship, with a background in law. How do those worlds complement one another?

After completing dual degrees in Law and Commerce, I began my career in commercial law before transitioning into media and entrepreneurship.

They actually work together far more than people might expect. Covering Formula 1 has given me a unique understanding of luxury brands, storytelling, and audience engagement, while building a fashion label has taught me about business, product development, and consumer behavior. Each area strengthens the others and allows me to bring a broader perspective to everything I do. Having a legal background has also been invaluable when negotiating partnerships, reviewing contracts, and running a business. It gave me a strong foundation professionally and is something I still draw on every day.

Q: What does a typical week look like for you?

There really isn’t one. One week I might be attending a Formula 1 Grand Prix, interviewing athletes or creating content for a client. Next, I might be reviewing garment samples, working on a new collection, or planning future business opportunities. The variety keeps things exciting and means no two days are ever quite the same. I also love home time and cooking, so I very much welcome staying home and not being anywhere!

Q: Tammy Christina, what is next for you?

Continuing to grow both my media platforms and World of Re’zort internationally. I would love to further expand the brand’s presence throughout Greece and Europe while continuing to cover Formula 1 and major global events. Ultimately, my goal is to keep building platforms that connect my audiences and involve them in my passions.
