Funding for the upgrade of Athens Metro trains operating on Lines 2 and 3, including the installation of air conditioning systems, has been included in the “Transport 2021-2027” program, part of Greece’s National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF), following a decision by Alternate National Economy & Finance Minister Nikos Papathanasis.
