A motorcyclist pulled a handgun and shot another biker in the leg in an apparent road rage incident in central Athens Sunday, police said.
A 34-year-old man was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries following the incident in the capital’s Gyzi district, while the gunman fled the scene where police later located two bullet cases. The cause of the altercation, which occurred around 8 a.m., was not immediately clear.
State ERT television said police were seeking a 31-year-old Albanian national in connection with the shooting.
