Thessaloniki metro to start earlier morning services from May 18

The Thessaloniki metro will begin operating 15 minutes earlier starting May 18, with first services departing at 5:15 a.m. instead of 5:30 a.m., in order to better serve passengers connecting to early morning rail services to Larissa and Athens, the metro operator announced.

The revised timetable was introduced following a request by Deputy Transport Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis and Deputy Infrastructure and Transport Minister Nikos Tachiaos,, as part of efforts to improve connections between the metro network and morning intercity rail services.
