Court employees in Athens are extending last week’s work stoppages into Monday and Tuesday over safety concerns following a recent shooting.
The protests began after an April 28 incident in which an 89-year-old gunman entered the former magistrates’ court building and wounded four judicial staff.
Workers say no meaningful measures have been taken to improve security since.
Planned actions include full-day walkouts at services housed in the former courthouse, along with two-hour work stoppages across other court services.
Rallies are scheduled at the courthouse site and the Evelpidon Court Complex.
The walkouts are expected to lead to delays in court procedures.
