The Ministry of National Defense thanked the 103 donors for contributing 26 million euros toward the armed forces modernizaton efforts in 2024.
In its announcement, the Ministry highlighted that these generous and selfless acts uphold the long-standing tradition of benefactors of the modern Greek state.
The donors include private individuals, corporations and foundations.
While donations in 2023 amounted to €322,000, this year’s contributions surged to €26 million.
