Four people have been injured after a man opened fire inside a courthouse in Athens on Tuesday, just hours after a similar incident at a branch of the EFKA social security fund in Keramikos.
The victims were taken to the Red Cross Hospital where they are receiving treatment for leg injuries.
According to initial information, the perpetrator of the attack at the Appeals Court on Kyrillou Loukareos Street in Ambelokipi, is the same as the one sought by police in connection with the first shooting.
The 89-year-old suspect fled the scene, leaving his hunting rifle behind. Shortly after the attack the building was evacuated.
Police forces and ambulances have rushed to the scene to tend to the three injured.
