Mostly clear skies are expected across Greece on Easter Sunday, with brief periods of cloud cover and isolated showers in eastern and northern mainland areas, as well as the islands of Evia, the Sporades and Crete, mainly during the midday and afternoon.
Visibility may be locally reduced early in the morning over the Ionian Sea and parts of the mainland.
Winds in western regions will blow from the southeast at 3 to 5 Beaufort, strengthening to 6 Beaufort in the Ionian later in the day. In the east, winds will be easterly at similar strengths, while the southeastern Aegean may see temporary northwesterly winds reaching 6 Beaufort.
Temperatures will edge higher, particularly in western and southern Greece. Highs will range from 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in the northeast, 18 to 19 degrees across most areas, and up to 20 to 21 degrees in the west and south.
In northern regions such as Macedonia and Thrace, intermittent clouds may bring brief showers. Western Greece and the Ionian islands will remain largely sunny, with only limited cloud buildup in mountainous areas.
In Attica and Thessaloniki, partly cloudy conditions are expected, with a chance of light, short-lived showers later in the day.
Looking ahead to Easter Monday, generally fair weather will continue, with localized rain possible in central and northern areas and a gradual rise in temperatures through midweek.
