Greece’s minister of maritime affairs and insular policy, Vassilis Kikilias, on Thursday said that despite the intense pressure exerted by the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East on shipping and transportation costs, the government has managed to keep ferry ticket prices stable ahead of the Easter season.
Kikilias also said that the government has prioritized supporting island communities and passengers.
