A 17-year-old youth has been arrested in Thessaloniki for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl he was staying with, authorities said Wednesday.
A police statement said the arrest of the youth, who is from Egypt, followed a complaint from the girl. The 17-year-old was allegedly staying with the girl at her stepfather’s house.
The two had met recently and police say the girl had offered the youth a place to stay.
