A high school teacher and one of her pupils have been arrested in an Athens park for alleged possession of tiny quantities of marijuana, police said.
Both face charges of breaking drugs laws.
A weekend police statement said a spot check by officers patrolling a park in the southern Kallithea district found the 34-year-old teacher to be carrying 5.7 grams of the drug, while the 17-year-old boy had in his possession a cigarette containing marijuana.
Police later searched the teacher’s home and confiscated 10 small plastic bags containing a total 29.1 grams of marijuana.
