Overdue debts to the tax authorities rose by €1.36 billion over a two-month period, according to Tax Administration Monitor data the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) reported on Wednesday.
In the past year, new debts totaling €9.86 billion were added. The picture of the last two months clearly reflects an upward trend. From €112.5 billion in October, the overdue balance increased to €113.15 billion in November and €113.86 billion in December.
