The Greek-owned merchant fleet increased by 0.4% in October 2024 compared with October 2023. An increase of 0.3% was recorded in October 2023 compared with October 2022, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Wednesday.
Additionally, the gross tonnage of the Greek Merchant Fleet, for vessels of 100 gross registered tonnage (GRT) and over, recorded a decrease of 3.9% in October compared with October 2023. A decrease of 2.5% had been registered in October 2023 compared with October 2022.
